Fairs & Markets

New Notebooks!

Dear readers,

Today I will let you all know which Arts Markets & Fairs I will be trading at this festive season, as well as a bit of information about an exciting exhibition with a preview night on Thursday this week! DO peruse on……

Glorious Eucalyptus!

I am really thrilled to be able to take part in some festive market trading in Edinburgh this year and I kick off with the wonderful 3D2D Organisation at The Assembly Rooms on George Street which is incredibly twinkly at the moment & located just off Princes Street. I took the pic below last weekend and marvelled at the size of the chandeliers upstairs…….surely worth a look in itself! Follow the button below to access the page on their website for more info. It will be on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th. I am banking on some mulled wine and mince pies to keep me going.

It is always a joy to meet fellow makers and have impromptu chats & smiles of support from across a busy room to cheer you on!

See the amazing chandeliers!

The following weekend, on Saturday 10th I will be in Leith with the ‘Out of The Blue’ Arts & Education Trust at the Blue Drill Hall. Just follow the button below to find more information and a full list of exhibitors with direct links.

Finally……a fab way to welcome in the festive start of December is the preview event for the Members Show 2022, ‘Kinship’ taking place at Edinburgh Printmakers, Castle Mills. I am thrilled to have had all 3 of my submitted works accepted for the show, which runs until 23rd December across galleries 1 & 2. The works I will show are all new, made during my first 3 months as a studio member. Two of the prints combine work through the press, along with screen printed layers. I am so excited to see them up!

A s h - October 2022

I am looking forward to our first Scottish Christmas……the city appears to be getting dressed up and ready to entertain!

I will leave you all with a pic I took of a corner of the living room where I had absent-mindedly plonked my neon pink folder which caught the light and made for a rather fab day disco spot……Bette my press enjoyed the warm glow too.

See you soon for one last spot of news before the yuletide season gets in full swing…..

Amazing what a bit of neon can do…

As ever I thank you for your time & for your continued support…….
